Welcome to the Home Page for the unit Statistics and Mathematics for Economics (also known as SAME or U13782).

The unit has two strands: Statistics for Economics (lectures by George Filis)and Mathematics for Economics (lectures by Guy Judge). Seminars will be taken by Guy Judge, George Filis, Renatas Kizys, Wang Linglan, Georgia Giordani and Ioannis Chatziantoniou.

Here you can find electronic versions of all the course material - lecture notes, problem sheets and practical exercises, information about the assessment and the exam etc. Select the link below to either the mathematics section or the statistics section.

All these materials are also stored on the K drive of the university's network in the folder K:\Student\PBS\Lectdata\JudgeG\SAME [U13782]

WARNING! These resources are not a substitute for attendance at lectures and practical classes. Students taking this unit are strongly advised to attend all lectures and practical classes.
